Although each to our own, I think it’s also fair enough for us all to spread the encouragement of trying to put the club and its existence in our thoughts ahead of the cost of a new mountain bike.Tigers1926 wrote: ↑03 Jul 2020, 18:04 Totally agree with Keithy and Tigerfeet and most other posters on this subject. The money already spent on season tickets for this season is gone as far as most are concerned, but I'm sure a few will have a different point of view which is absolutely fine. After all we are individuals with individual thoughts on the subject, so each to their own. Let's just get the game on the field again and hope everyone is well and we have a end to what has been a bonkers last few months. COYF

Re: Season tickets
Still optimistic that we will see fans back before the end of the season, 20% or maybe 25%? How many season ticket holders do Cas have? If we are allowed 2,500 people in, then that could mean 2,000 fans. Would that be enough to get all season ticket holders in?

Re: Season tickets
Not quite. We have just short of 4000 ST holders. I cannot see any form of watching Tigers this season down’t Lane feasible. If we had an all seater stadium - maybe but not in the current climate. How many season ticket holders do Cas have? If we are allowed 2,500 people in, then that could mean 2,000 fans. Re: Season tickets
The hope is that a proportion of fans will be allowed back in such as 25% of the capacity. It will be home fans only and I imagine corporates will be first back in.
So with our capacity we will probably be limited to around 3900, so ST holders only plus hospitality.

It would be a good atmosphere and hopefully make the club some money if the games fans can't go to live are shown on a big screen on the training ground be something to look forward to that if it's viable to do it

Re: Season tickets
the problem I see, is that if the club has to restrict spectators due to the COVID issue, then we very likely won't be playing in Cas... we'll be at sheddingley, possibly - as that's the nearest ground to us that satisfies the requirements regarding matchday setup in the current climate.
By the time we get to play at home - we'll probably be back to BAU.

Yes great effort that
From the start of the season being suspended Carter as let every Wakefield supporter know just where there at with everything you may not agree with all he says but to keep the supporters in the loop on almost a daily basis during these awful times is a credit to him

Re: Season tickets
The bit that stands out for me in the Wakefield piece is "96% of season tickets holders don't want a refund". Maybe Jinger can clarify this for me. We (Tigers) are looking at a 3rd option of no refund for this season and a discount on next years ST. Are the 96% of Wakey's ST holders saying they don't want any discount whatsoever?
We might be looking at 3 options:-
A) No refund for 2020
B) Refund on games not attended in 2020
C) No refund for 2020 but discount on 2021 ST price.
Myself, I would probably go for option C.
In a similar scenario at Wakefield Trinity where ST holders have an option A and B (no option C) - are 96% saying option A? If so - that is a phenominal response! I didn't realise they were that flush with cash over 't common.

Below is a message from our CEO, Michael Carter, which includes a Form for our 2020 Season Card Holders to complete!Tigerade wrote: ↑06 Aug 2020, 14:21 The bit that stands out for me in the Wakefield piece is "96% of season tickets holders don't want a refund". After the fantastic response we have had, which has seen over 96% of season ticket holders say that they would not want any refund, and wish the Club to retain any monies to help plot its path through this crisis, I would like to now inform you of the next step that needs to be taken.
We would like you to submit the following form giving your details (so that we can check our database is correct) and also ticking the box that says that you want to donate any unused monies back to the Club. This then allows us to claim back any relevant VAT which will also help financially. The form takes less than two minutes to complete. (If you do not wish to donate any unused monies back to the club, then you can ignore this form).
In return for your kindness, I pledge the following to you:
There will be a price freeze on your season card for 2021.
Any junior ticket holder that would not have qualified for a junior ticket next year, WILL now be eligible to purchase a junior pass for 2021 at the current price for juniors.
We will give you 2 lines in our Club 1873 Lottery each week for a year. This is worth £104 and gives you the chance every week to win the cost of your season ticket back plus many other prizes.
We will also give you a £10 retail voucher to be spent in our Retail shop in November and December on our brand new Kit Supplier’s merchandise which is being launched then.
You will also receive a special one-off polo shirt mentioning every members name that contributes showing that you did your bit to help survive the Corona Pandemic.
And of course, an access code to watch all our behind closed doors games via OurLeague will be available.
For all those that complete the form before Sunday 9th August there will be a draw for a special prize, courtesy of the Board.
Trinity fan in peace, hope things work out for you all, looking forward to seeing our games together.
