Reading various posts about players Daryl has improved, made better.Or if we sign so and so Daryl will make him a better player. Which he has done regulaly. I totally agree with how good a coach he is and how important he is for now and the future of Cas. I think it is time to offer him a 4-5 year contract and get him tied down.

Re: Powell
Is he the 'Fergie' of Englisg RL and worth a similar time at the helm? Possibly so...

Re: Powell
100% he should be given a long long contract. Issue is we may lose Orr and Shez as I don't think they want to play back up all their coaching career.
Re: Powell
Let's remember, to get a Top RL Coach gig is few and far between and where both Orr and Shez would also be competing with similar back up staff at other clubs - chances are that they will be in their current positions for at least another few years or they could get offered a better deal to be backup at other richer clubs I would say but anyway, I'm here to be proven wrong if others have a different view.
Re: Powell
When does DP contract run out? Id definitely be looking to tie him down for another long term deal. 3/4 years maybe and then he can lay some foundations down for whoever comes next.

Am sure DP would
Love to finish his career at cas.
Once he moves on from coaching I hope he stays at the club in some capacity.
