Re: Millington - Yes or No
Castleford Tigers could lose Daniel Smith, with the forward’s future yet to be resolved.
The former Huddersfield and Wakefield man is off-contract at the end of the season and, although the Tigers are keen to keep the 27-year-old, a deal has yet to be agreed and they now face competition from Hull Kingston Rovers, who have shown interest in the ball-playing forward.

Daniel won’t leave its lazy journalism trying to make a story out of nothing, he’ll be signing a new deal at Cas.heritage1926 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 09:40Castleford Tigers could lose Daniel Smith, with the forward’s future yet to be resolved.

If Milo and MM have re-signed and were supposed to be getting three incoming new signings somebody's got to be leaving

Mike McMeeken, Grant Millington, Daniel Smith, James Clare, Matt Cook and Calum Turner are among those off-contract and all are currently in talks with the club, with further activity expected this week.

Of those, I think Dan Smith would be the biggest loss. I hope we can keep him.heritage1926 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 10:13Mike McMeeken, Grant Millington, Daniel Smith, James Clare, Matt Cook and Calum Turner are among those off-contract and all are currently in talks with the club, with further activity expected this week.

I think the poster means that these are the players currently in talks.Fumper27 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 11:44Isn't Moors off contract as well?heritage1926 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 10:13Mike McMeeken, Grant Millington, Daniel Smith, James Clare, Matt Cook and Calum Turner are among those off-contract and all are currently in talks with the club, with further activity expected this week.
I guess we have decided not to renew Moors” contract.
Sene-Lafeo is also out of contract, but I guess has either signed an extension already or has decided to return home.

Didn’t Jesse sign a 3 year contract in 2018 which would run out in 2021nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 12:08I think the poster means that these are the players currently in talks.Fumper27 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 11:44Isn't Moors off contract as well?heritage1926 wrote: ↑08 Jun 2020, 10:13Mike McMeeken, Grant Millington, Daniel Smith, James Clare, Matt Cook and Calum Turner are among those off-contract and all are currently in talks with the club, with further activity expected this week.
