Re: Tony Gigot
Done a interview with Mathew shaw saying he’s looking for a new club and with us loosing rankin think he would be a good option for full back and half back
Re: Tony Gigot
Not for me. If he was any good he’d of been picked up prior to his Toronto move.
Re: Tony Gigot
Never mind till end of season I’d bring him in for a few years.
Re: Tony Gigot
Prefer evalds in early
Re: Tony Gigot

Re: Tony Gigot
Theres more to a player than what they do on a rugby field.
Powell has built a culture within the club.
Fans just seem to look at one dimension. I.e.
How they perform in a match.
Players spend less than 5% of their time playing a match.

Re: Tony Gigot
gigot admits he's been ringing clubs asking if they want him but he's had no takers. said he was playing for toronto for virtually nothing to try and prove himself.

Re: Tony Gigot
If we can’t get Evalds in early then with Rankkn gone Gigot wouldn’t be the worst option as a stop gap. Also would offer cover in the halves which is an area we are light if anything happened to Trueman or Richardson.

Re: Tony Gigot
Full-back, as we have seen is difficult to benefit massively from in the short term though. It takes time for players to settle in to a system when 50cm either way in joining up play makes the difference between being through a gap or cleaned up.
How quickly, when the group are not training and routinely playing even simulated games together can anyone get up to speed?
It'd need to be a deal for pence in my opinion to make anything short term worthwhile.

Re: Tony Gigot
Totally agree . Thats why id try Turner or Hodgson both have more of a chance to get up to speed with the plays hopefully been in and around the team already . Just my thinking , save a bit of money n all !
