Sack Rankin off at end of the year and give this kid what he wants. Some player and the missing piece to our puzzle IMO.
Re: Niall Evalds
Definitely he has got it all, great win for Salford.heritage1926 wrote: ↑13 Mar 2020, 22:18 Sack Rankin off at end of the year and give this kid what he wants. Some player and the missing piece to our puzzle IMO.

Re: Niall Evalds
The bloke is the best full-back in SL.
We should have plenty of flexibility in the salary cap next year. We’d be crazy not to try and bring him in.

Wasn't aware that you knew his ambitions.jackknife wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020, 07:30Give him what he wants? He wants to be at Salfordheritage1926 wrote: ↑13 Mar 2020, 22:18 Sack Rankin off at end of the year and give this kid what he wants. Some player and the missing piece to our puzzle IMO.
Re: Niall Evalds
Class player but can't see him down lane somehow. Salford won't want to lose him. But stranger things have happened I suppose.
Re: Niall Evalds
Really enjoyed last nights match well done to Salford

He said when he signed his new contract in 2017 that hes been at the club since 15 and wants to stay with them to repay them for giving him the opportunity.heritage1926 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020, 09:07Wasn't aware that you knew his ambitions.jackknife wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020, 07:30Give him what he wants? I’ve changed my mind about lots of things since 2017.jackknife wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020, 11:01He said when he signed his new contract in 2017 that hes been at the club since 15 and wants to stay with them to repay them for giving him the opportunity.heritage1926 wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020, 09:07Wasn't aware that you knew his ambitions.jackknife wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020, 07:30Give him what he wants? I suspect Koukash’s money was a bigger factor, or maybe even the Lamborghini he won as a “prize” for winning Salford’s Player of the Year award as it was a way around the salary cap.
I think Evalds would be very keen on a move to Cas. We’re a top team, consistently finishing in the play-off spots.
If he was definitely going to stay, I think he would have signed a deal by now. Salford will have done their best to tie him up before other clubs can approach him.
Re: Niall Evalds
Dont get me wrong id love to sign Evalds just think a lot of teams would want him and cant see us offering him the best deal, i think we will more likely end up with Jamie Shaul and Hull possibly offering Evalds big money to get him away from Salford.

Re: Niall Evalds
I think you might be right about us getting shaul and hull evalds.
Saying that depends on who hull being in to coach.
He may want to keep shaul, that could be an opening for us.
My gut feeling is he’ll stay at Salford.

Re: Niall Evalds
In a salary-capped sport, it often depends on who has the most cap space at a particular time.
I think we’ll have quite a bit next year, whilst Hull FC don’t seem to have many current players OOC.
Most of the other top teams have an established full-back already, so I think we’re in a good position to sig him, unless he signs a deal with Salford first.

Re: Niall Evalds
My good lady said exactly the same
One week he's Captain Bird's-eye
The next it all because the lady loves.......
However no matter what he wears he still spouts the same old rubbish so maybe the next time we see him he should come as Dusty Bins or Uncle Bulgaria.
He seems oblivious of the way Wells and Carney got digs in quite embarrassing.
