I thought he was ok going forward. He does get between defenders and land clean on his front. He was at fault for the first try though- dropping off Byrne who scored.

What the hell were you watching? Mass was solid as a rock, tackled his heart out and nearly always hit the ground on his front and plays it quick. He is never going to be a superstar but in a salary capped sport not everyone can be.
Massey is a good solid player that's why he gets picked .he does the job he is supposed to do and doesn't deviate from it .

i was impressed with Opherts most likely spelt wrong, the lad hadsome top class carries out of defence and a nice try well done young fella keep it up

Agree with that Gateman. Wasn’t impressed when we gave him a three year deal. He’s making me eat my words so far.

PS - he’s 28 so hardly a young fella 😉😉

Aye true but Massey's first contact was poor.
Other than that though I thought he did alright.

the Normanton Knights do not start their season till the first week in march , i could wonder over to the ground at 12 as there should be an under 14 match playing if its still on with the weather
