Sonny Bill who

What an anticlimax. He looks like a waste of money. Nobody seems able to say how bad his debut was. Is it just me who thought he was hopeless.

Curious one I have not heard any good reports, I am torn on this, I think going in to a negotiation of a TV deal for the game as a whole, there is a lot riding on his profile, he is one of the few people outside RL that brings a profile. Other than against us, it would be great if he played well.

Sadly same for IF at Catalans too attracts "attention" not necessarily the right attention. I think we need to get to mid-season with everyone beating everyone and it has to be one of the best seasons ever - there is a great deal riding on the next TV deal when you consider the proportion of clubs held up primarily by the Sky monies.

1st game in 5 years . Was he great ? No . Was he absolutely terrible ? No . Whoever thinks he's gonna be near the level of his prime is stupid he's 34;. Publicity was the main reason the the signing .

He was awful. Knocked on 3 times and did nothing.

Glad we played them now though.... I'm sure he will get better.

This. He is a big specimen and I suspect he will cause all sorts of problems as he beds in. I don't think we've heard the last of Sunny by a long stretch.
To finish last in the Tour de France, first you must finish.

5 years out of the game, 34 years old, surrounded by a very mediocre team.

His value is in the attention he attracts for Toronto (and Rugby League in general), I doubt he'll achieve much on the pitch this year. Although it'd be nice to see him hit something like the kind of form he managed in his prime later on in the year.
