I'd be very surprised if this happened, been fantastic for us, unless we're bringing in a world class overseas player I'd be shocked

Cas lad and developed into a very good player.

I’d be very surprised if Wakey allowed him to leave however

Not sure about him replacing Mcshane but I'd be happy with him to compliment Mcshane.

Great player to bring off the bench to make an impact and stop Mcshane looking as tired and jaded as he has this year.

Is it April 1st, or just the start of silly season. Kyle Wood is not fit to lace the boots of McShane. Dont quite know where these rumours come from but they do make me shake my head and wonder what people have in their lives in the close season.
McShane is a class 9, hence the 5 yr deal, Wood is a Championship player, hence he plays 2nd fiddle at every club hes at.
What's the saying, if you've nothing worth saying, don't say anything. Think a few of our supposed fans need to take similar advice.

Plays every game for Waki always thought he was there best player when Iv seen them play.
Maybe him off bench McShane at 9 and O'Neil out on loan for year.

I’d be happy with a Kyle wood coming off the bench when defences were tired but he’s no starting hooker IMO. I’d be bitterly disappointed to lose macca to replace him with wood as again imo it would be another backward step. I’m willing to give macca the benefit of doubt this year as he was never the same player after he got injured before that he was his usual self.

A poor mans McShane. As an interchange to Maaca maybe but as a replacement. No way.

2 completely different players imo can't see macca going but who knows. He's been awesome up to the last season maybe he's become abit stale at cas and maybe he needs a new challenge.
I'd hope that's what Powell would set him is the challenge just as I'd hope oneil gets a good crack next year I think with O'Neil and hopefully Richardson coming in that we can find some spark and enjoyment in our rugby this year didn't look like a team who were enjoying playing for some reason.

Wow. I'm surprised some of you guys think he is good enough to play for us. He is a squad player at best and he is 30 already. 31 when new season starts.

This is a massive no for me whether he is a Cas lad or not. I played with him at amateur level and I still believe to this day he has only made it pro due to him having a strong relationship with Pete Riding.

Yes mate that would be a good combination if Mcshane came back to his best next season having someone to scoot at tired defenders

Would definitely give us a plan B which we certainly didn’t have last year. Scooting off the back of good go forward is his specialty and that is something we are certainly lacking in. I reckon he’d be a good signing personally.

No chance Cas signing another hooker if it's not to replace McShane. Powell would not waste money when theres Miner and Oneal that can cover when required.
