Cas Vs Leeds. Should of played it at Fev or Wakefield. Would of made for a much better crowd.

Cas v Leeds on a Friday night in St Helens. **** me, even the RFL should be able to work out that a change of venue would benefit everyone.

Why can’t it be moved to headingley or somewhere closer. Heaven forbid local kids get enthused by two local teams competing for silverware.

The RFL may be contractually obliged to hold it at the venue they signed up for months ago?

Fev Rovers may have been a more suitbale location and they do hold many games at PO Road for the amatuer game.

The RFL have released a statement today to confirm it won’t be moved as tickets and corporate hospitality have already been sold.

I hope the club strongly protest this ahead of next season so that next year we have finals closer in the middle.

It's unfair for our fans to have to travel down the M62 on a Friday night to see this game when they could get 2,000+ here in Yorkshire.

It just sums up the total incompetence of those running the game. Two venues could have been pencilled in with the venue confirmed once the finalists were confirmed.

Tbh there is life at the bottom of the ocean with more brains than these lot didn't they go to the wrong ground with the medals or were about to then realised there were no medals
It would have been a great atmosphere at fev or wakey or somewhere like that

Here's a thought for the RFL, why not have a double header at OT?

Now the issue there is that ‘thought and RFL’ don’t go together. They don’t think.

The same reason our grounds man won't let others play before the first team, to keep the pitch intact. I can't imagine the RFL will want to showcase the final with the field chewed up from a previous game.

Sorry, I don’t buy that one. How many ‘curtain raisers’ have been played over the years, including at Wembley? Plus, the triple header for the cup, double header international at Coventry etc...

Not sure, not my forte, however, I know Stuart doesn't like academy/women/kids teams playing on the pitch before a first team game, especially if the weathers bad. How other stadiums/grounds man handle the workload when multiple teams are playing then I'm not sure.

Setting off 4:30. Hope we get there for half time.
To finish last in the Tour de France, first you must finish.
