I went the the game last night and was impressed by the standard on show. The attendance of 1303 on a Tuesday night was brilliant. Toulouse played York in a championship play-off game this weekend and only got 1100. The only complaint was the lack of services. Only one stand open and a queue for Tea/Coffee/Beer that didn't go down all night. Only the Tigers bar open. There should have been more facilities open IMO. Overall though very good and will definately be watching the Cas Tigers Ladies again.
Was Impressed with Yorks' number 6, found out later from her parents who were there watching , she has turned 40 and went on tour with GB Ladies to New Zealand, playing along with Castlefords coach. When they saw one another Cas's coach said Sarha what are you doing still playing, replied, they have just roped me in for this game I am on dual reg from Keighley Albion with a big grin on her face. She loved it so they said.
Her parents weren't impressed with the seating in the stand, thought it a fire hazard, but impressed with the Tigers Ladies though.

7 of our ladies have been selected for the PNG tour in October, the England set up covers flights and accommodation but they need to fund the rest of the trip themselves whilst taking 19 days off work.
A number of the ladies have reached out for support on social media, setting up go fund me pages for people to donate any spare cash they have.
Would anybody be interested in supporting them? If so I can share the links (if it’s within the rules of the forum to do so!).

No tours with amateur teams are paid for by the governing body, all players selected have to do fund raising. When I played at Lock Lane we were constantly raising funds for guys who were selected for tours, would be very disappointed if the Cas board didn’t stump up a decent chunk for them though!!

They have a game today to finish regular season unbeaten away at St Helens. Should be a tough game but a good prep for next week.

10-4 to CAS at half time. S.Hoyle had a great first half for Cas. 40mins away from finishing the regular season unbeaten.

Wow. CAS losing 18-10 now with kick to come. Awful second half. So close to being unbeaten.

Too many poor decisions and too many errors.
Lost control of the game and everything then went against them in the 2nd half. A game lost by us than won by Saints IMO.
As a club, we must really hate Saints away by now. Can’t seem to buy a win over there

Don’t really watch the ladies but I have watched both games in which they were beaten and it’s very evident that they go in to complete panic when put under any resemblance of pressure. Hopefully they can learn from the loss as it’s certain those pressures will be there in a grand final regardless of the opposition.

Not really. Wasn't a big game. LLS already sown up. Semi final next week. Let's see how they get on in that.

Next weeks game more important than today's.
The side bounced back well after the Challenge Cup loss, lets hope they can make the Grand final!

Last game of the normal season to go the year unbeaten, playing the same team that you are facing the week after in the Grand Final... to me that is a big game.

Only a bad result if we don’t go on and win it.
Otherwise it’s like us losing at Whitehaven and then thrashing them out of sight two weeks later to get promoted.
