Forum update
You've probably guessed already that things have changed since your last visit. While I've kept the look fairly similar the forum required a very large update in order to keep things running smoothly.
As with any large update bugs and errors might appear, if you happen to spot one please reply to this thread with with as much information as possible - if and error was shown, what page it happened on etc.
Over the next week or so further improvements will be made however for now I've spent the last 12 hours moaning at my monitor when things kept breaking!

Re: Forum update
I like the new look .
Much easier on the old eye so far easier to read.
Not sure if the number of responses was a feature previously but if so more obvious now, if not a good addition.
Not having any technical abilities l have no idea as to what is involved.
However l would like to offer my thanks and appreciation.

Re: Forum update
If it’s sent by email check your spam folder. The way the forum sends emails changed a while back and they’re now sent directly from the server rather than routed via another provider.

Re: Forum update
Think the new layout looks great.
The only thing I don’t seem to have is the list of ‘recent posts’ on the landing page - the box is there but no links to the threads.

Re: Forum update
Is there an app available that allows the forum to be accessed (quickly) via a smartphone, without having to use a browser? I know some forums use a plugin that allows an app to interact with the content - just not seen any reference to one on this site.
I'm very much liking this new layout and style, btw

Re: Forum update
Nope there isn’t an app - just the site. The FAQ is a known problem too, think there’s a couple of pages which are broken and will be fixed over the next week.Burratha wrote: ↑15 Sep 2019, 17:57 Is there an app available that allows the forum to be accessed (quickly) via a smartphone, without having to use a browser? Re: Forum update
Think it’s tremendous.
Thank you.
MUCH better now to keep a track of posts you’ve commented on; a major reason to revisit/repeat visits.
We should all push the forum more on Facebook etc; much better than the threads on there that end up causing fights,
Thank you.

Re: Forum update
Like it, very clean.
I can't find a button /tab at the bottom to move board index and navigate around. You have to move back to the top of the page. Can we have another.

Re: Forum update
Yes, button right at the bottom. Unfortunately it doesn't reverse or speed up time. For that we'd need a time machine button, if only to bring back mal reilly in his pomp.
