No way would Wigan send him to Cas.SWISS TONY!! wrote:So he goes on loan to wakey but didnt want to come on loan to cas? Unless of course we never asked....
1) We did them no favours with Clark
2) We are both battling for top 5
3) Wakey need him more than us

Re: Escare
strange signing for me as i think jowitt and hampshire are better all round full backs than escare but i suppose they could play him elsewhere in the backs.

Re: Escare
The rumour i heard was we were happy to let them have clark if we got escare for the rest of the season but escare said he wanted to fight for his place. Now French has come it means hes further down the pecking order.heritage1926 wrote:No way would Wigan send him to Cas.SWISS TONY!! wrote:So he goes on loan to wakey but didnt want to come on loan to cas? I believe we do need him more than wakey unless you count matautia and rankin as better full backs than Escare?
One things for certain he would have added some much needed pace into our back line

Re: Escare
I'm not sure if the club have fallen out with Hamsh due to him not signing a new contract, as for Jowett, I like him but Chester doesn't appear to, any chance he gets he drops him. Re: Escare
Screw escare, he's made his choice. Now wakey have lots of fullbacks. Good for them.
Re: Escare
At this moment in time but next season? Hampsh is going, Chester doesn't rate Jowitt, that leaves allegedly Alex Walker as the only fullback at the club, and that's if we stay up.mart0042 wrote:Screw escare, he's made his choice. Now wakey have lots of fullbacks. Good for them.

Re: Escare
If Jowitt didn't want to stay at wakey I'm sure another team will give him a go. If that's cas then the price must be right. We ain't paying top Dollar for a bench player but maybe with a bit of work he might get a chance.JIN JER wrote:Nope I believe they did matey. Re: Escare
Panic is going to cause lots of financial issues for these teams.
All this extra money has to come from somewhere. If Cas make profit, one of the rare ones. How much does wakey make if any?
Now add the wages of green, escare and tangata. Still paying the wages of the injured aswell. A costly gamble, Hull KR doing the same, London well under the cap with a millionaire backer.
Survival this year makes next year even harder, especially if Toronto come up and the extra costs.

Re: Escare
I have absolutely no idea wages/pay off wise but generally we offload a player to bring one in.mart0042 wrote:Panic is going to cause lots of financial issues for these teams.

Tanginoa-Horo
Green-Huby released
Escare-Reynolds to Leigh
Tangata-Hurst Swap
I'm guessing Wigan will pay the majority of Escare's wages.

Hurst was full time pro, maybe wakey paying some of his wages
Also now atkins
Wigan were up to cap and bright in French, can't see them paying much as they've paid up tautai and gambling.
We haven't seen panic like this in a long time, relegating is helping the clubs, maybe a14 team league would be better.
