Guess only lam will know what he wants
French is awful defensively.
If he could tackle, he’d be playing for Parramatta. They just can’t pay him as he gets targeted mercilessly.

I meant moving Zak to centre

Ah, right.
Whilst his defensive positioning is great at full-back, I’m not sure how good he would be in the centre. He’s not the biggest or strongest.
I guess the other option for them is to play French in the halves. He’s not played there before though.

It’s a bizarre signing. They mention he can play in the halves which makes me wonder if he’s going to play 6 when Williams goes to the NRL.
Madness to move Hardaker and moreover would Hardaker want to play centre. Only way he will get back in Eng squad for me is at full back.
Centres we have Connor, Percival, Gildart. He’s in a battle there.

Hardaker won't play anything but full back next season

French has played in the halves before but very very briefly. Wouldn't want him there anyway though tbh, anywhere but FB and I think they'd be wasting his talent

Perhaps Wigan are making the mistake of just signing a player because they can, rather than because they need him.
They are going to have to choose one of Hardaker or French to play at full-back. That leaves the other playing in a position that isn’t their best.
In their position I would prioritise forwards.

I’ve just bookmarked this page and set a reminder to come back in February and ridicule such a ridiculous claim. Your track record for being “in the know” is on a par with Spy In The Stands

There was talk at Wigan earlier this season of Hardaker bulking up to move to loose forward next.

We’d all love to see him back but in reality it’s not gonna happen now he’ll get some proper service next year at Wigan he’ll be back to his best.

He been asked to play centre Zak at Wigan. His up turn in form is a msg to Lam that he wants to be Wigan Fullback and I doubt He will be dropped from FB at minute as been Wigan best player last couple of months.

So we can take that to mean that Hardaker has asked to play prop and it’s a message to Fev Lions that he wants to sign for then on the off season.
Why not give up on trying to be ITK SITS? You’re not very good at it....

I'm glad I'm not the only one who'd lo e Zak the fullback, not the person shame you can't split the two, in a cas shirt. Can I see it happening... No I can't, unfortunately.
what doesn't kill me simply makes me...stranger.
