Feki Watch

Post by Mysterio » 16 Jul 2019, 20:23

Just an idea ; a central repository type thread for all things fekkier!

Anyone got good footage / stats/skill set demos anywhere?

As an aside I thought he looked decidedly nervous the other day I think the sharks played st George or whomever and he very nearly nervously flunked a field kick to his corner

Just type his name in YouTube and you can see his highlights

Admittedly not up to the minute, so your point maybe well valid

I noticed a poster of him saying Feki the FINISHER sounds promising.

Man of the match a couple of weeks ago, just not been live on sky to study him. Josh Duggan is his centre but send rarely about to pass and send to prefer to struggle in for a try rather than give an easy ball.

Or we all more excited to watch him because of him coming from nrl or we more excited so we don’t potentially have to watch James Clare / egodo on the wing every week ? For me I’m excited because heard he’s good

Cronulla fans seem to be a bit hit and miss on him. Most say he's dangerous and will kill it in Super League, some say he's not the player they had hoped.

He seems to have a very clever way of using his centre of gravity / body weight to get in the ball down in tight one on ones as opposed to be blasted into row Z.

Don’t take this the wrong way, werenbuying him as a winger but he looks more than capable of covering centre should he be needed too,

Fast without being lightning, an on form Eden and Feki should put us in a superb position out wide. I think Greg will move over to the right but who knows:Eden Might be on the way out or battling with Clare or Olpherts.

If we can get a fullback that fits our play, and a prop, and remain injury lucky, we’ll be there or thereabouts.
Pete could be excellent off the bench to cover many roles as Roberts once did.

The secret is now a full back. More than anything else.

Eden had one of his best games last year when he played full-back at Hkr can't remember if he played there again after that maybe had a shocker game after and that was that
He's also peed Powell off which usually dosnt bode well for a blokes future at Cas

Greg’s safe at Cas and will get the #5 shirt next season. He infuriates Powell because of how unpredictable he is, we obviously know he’s a good winger and can score bucket loads, but he will never cut the erratic side of his game out.

Think we've a good one in Feki, will add undoubted quality to the team, but should also settle Blair, knowing he has a finisher on his outside. Look forward to seeing what that partnership can do next season already.
