Won't be impressed if that's Tautai at all.
I’d be surprised if we were interested in Tautai. His game isn’t usually what Powell looks for in a player. He’s got no ball-handling ability at all, is slow to play the ball, slow in defence and can only do short minutes. The reduction in interchanges has really impacted on him as he just can’t do enough minutes without completely breaking down and becoming a liability in attack and defence.
Powell has tried signing Tautai twice already in the past so he obviously likes him.
32 yr old penalty machine, who cant do more then 15mins a game.
If this is true thats me done

Regarding Westerman, it says we may have been beaten by Leeds to his signing with the Cas offer being “some way off”.

Where are leeds getting all of their money from?
Anyway, Westerman is worth an improved offer. If we’re 10k less it’s sfill us he’d chose. Surely.

Exactly. Got to be better in Aus reserve grade.

Marquee player Merrin back to Australia?
Dwyer, Parcell, JJB and Ferres out of contract.
Westerman isn’t going to solve their problems though. They need a massive clear-out, but most of the players are under contract for 2020.

Because he's deluded and has asked for an internationals wage.

Ah right. Pray to god we don’t sign him.
Daryl needs to give his head a shake if he’s even considered it.

Every player has a price.
Joe Westerman would have been a perfect fit for us at 13.
However. He's been spoilt throughout his career by been thrown on 100k a year so early. Means every move he demands internationals wages. And he's not an international player.
If Leeds want to break the mould they build all their success on by paying silly money to individuals. Let them. They're in decline.

Definitely this, no way should we be paying top money for a 30 year old who has flattered to deceive and with question marks over his fitness. Would have him at the right price.
