Is the centre from the NRL Federation trained as we have to let an overseas player leave for us to be able to fit him in

Webbo must be in the non fed trained list. Thus part of the quota. The quota and non fed trained are the same now i believe. Hudds knows the rules better than I do.

Was also told that QLT has spoken with Powell and told him that he isn’t up to a full season in SL due to the levels of fitness and physicality required. Wants to drop back down a level, probably back to Halifax or Sheffield

Webster is exempt.

JSL, Clark, Moors, Roberts, QLT, Mata’utia, Millington are our overseas players at the moment.

QLT would make sense and could also explain the deal given to Turner too.

Is the quota 7 or is it due to change. They did want t to keep reducing it

It’s 7 but I was under the impression some of the top clubs wanted to increase it to 8.

Under the old system it reduced down each year from 7 to 5, but they bumped it back up again.
