Huddersfield and Hull have played 3 times also Wigan and Wakey.
Huddersfield and Hull have played each other twice.
Wonder why Wigan and Wakefield have played all three of their league games already?
Wrong on the first part.
28th March - Hull 22 Hudds 10
25th June - Hull 17-Hudds 10
22nd July - Hudds 40-Hull 26
Ah, I'd looked at the fist fixture and thought is was a pre-season game.
There goes my plan of re-setting the fixture list so teams only play each other twice!

Tony Smith said today the Hull KR have played Catalans three times already
Not according to either club’s website they haven’t.
They played each other in round 1 and again last weekend.
Yes you’re correct. I’ve realised he was talking in the context of the third game being played on Monday next week, so for the purposes of this discussion they will shortly have played Catalans three times!
Wigan play Leigh for the 3rd time in monday as well.

It just seems ludicrous that we are playing third fixtures between some teams when other haven't even played each other once, and the vast majority haven't played each other twice.

Ludicrous is a good word to sum up the game in general right now.

Bizarre comment I know BUT if Leigh do not play the minimum 18 games is their season classed as invalid and they cannot get relegated !!
I think the minimum number of games was to get in Top 6 - get the lawyers on it and check the small print

Tony Smith thinks there should be no relegation in view of the mess this season is and is up for one or two teams still getting promoted

I think they'll let them in but they'll get no money. The club's won't want their income reducing by dividing by 14 rather than 12.

We just can't keep changing the league, playoffs and rules every season. There has to be continuity. There problems we have is each club wants something different.

And that's why we need an independent review with new investment. The so called top clubs are not interested in growing the game, just their results.

Elstone came in to sort the TV deal and raise the games profile only to find out each club wanted different things and couldn't agree any of his proposals and then sky used the advantage to get a better deal for themselves.
Now we have a rich owner of Huddersfield, who owns nothing but their name ( no ground or training facilities) and is owed closing in on £20 million in temporary charge. What do you think he wants......... Yes it's about strategic placement and facilities. Of course, Huddersfield must be strategic, it's the birth place of rugby League don't you know.
It needs to be truly independent but since super League is a members club, they pay for the review and decide whether to implement the findings. I wouldn't want the rfl involved as Rimmer him and his team couldn't organise a successful trip to a brewery.

Didn’t Huddersfield finish bottom of Super League 4 times before the RFL relegated them?

The goalposts were certainly moved on more than one occasion.
