i blame the rugby league, the system is all wrong, you cant build a super league team with time given, surely it should be 2 years when promoted just to give the club a chance to build a team?

Leigh have been thrown to the lions via the inapt RFL.

No way Cas ended up getting relegated due to a certain side being protected, Leigh wanted the chance and so did many others, maybe the rumours going round that there will be no relegation may well prove it was a risk worth taking.

If there’s possibly no relegation why have they sacked Duffy.

The RFL are still discussing what the game will look like in the next couple of years we will probably not find anything out from them until the last minute as usual as such Leigh needed to get proactive and make sure they don't finish bottom.
A few other clubs will also be worried if they decide to go for the 10 team SL option......

it will depend who is bottom at the end of the season. they won't want a team from west of the pennines going down or the league looks a bit unbalanced. even more so if fev finish top.
