Re: Sky sports news
Of course it will be the same old rubbish as every year. I notice they spent 8 million on women's football today, our sport wants at least that then off them to cover it.
Theres no way on earth Super League gets lower crowds or viewing figures than that.

Re: Sky sports news
I reckon they invest more advertising netball than they do Super League
Re: Sky sports news
Pretty much like 2017 I see none of the so called experts are tipping us to do anything.evalds not even named in the top 5 signings.hopefully we go under the radar again
Re: Sky sports news
Have sky got a advert clip that they show for the new season like the one Jonny Vegas did a couple of years ago not seen owt but don't watch as much as I used to on there
They spend all that money but it's like there not bothered about Rugby League strange because every other sport they show gets bigged up no end
I guarantee that if they stopped showing the sport It would barely get a mention on there channels

Re: Sky sports news
I think for Sky the RL fan will watch it advertised or not, whereas Netball and women's football doesn't have an established viewing following and there are still people to hoover up.
Sad fact that our following is settled and established. Disappointed that only the BBC picked up on Gavin Henson having a go, there was an opportunity there for a Welsh and Lions player to be leveraged, but missed.
I've no idea what the plan is for Rugby League, but we have covered that on the Leigh admission and Robert Elstone thread, we can only lament the farce!

Re: Sky sports news
Isn’t Sky Sports Arena completely dedicated to Rugby League this week?
Re: Sky sports news
Yes they have a dedicated channel this week showing old games the problem for me is not the number of games they show they have six super league games on and three NRL matches this week fantastic carnt wait I just think they could present the sport better starting with some new blood in the commenenrty box and summerisers that have not played for the last twenty odd years making way for players not long retired

Re: Sky sports news
Did anyone see Sky's season preview program last night and if so, is it worth watching or just another 'Big Four' bum lick?
Re: Sky sports news
I’m enjoying some of the old games and it’s made me realise how much Eddie & Stevo still annoy me
Re: Sky sports news
Not much of a mention for us, I’m afraid.FIat Capper wrote: ↑24 Mar 2021, 13:10 Did anyone see Sky's season preview program last night and if so, is it worth watching or just another 'Big Four' bum lick?
