Hes also been part of 7 winning Ryder cup teams and yes a couple of losing ones. Hes won tournaments in all parts of the world and has been world no 1 in his chosen sport!

I am well aware of Westwood's golfing exploits and I believe he is the current race to Dubai champion meaning he was the No1 player on last year's Euro tour but I don't get what he brings to the table? Motivation and/or mental skills, perhaps aimed at individual performances whereas Terry brings the working as a team ethos?

Not sure Wayne Bridge would agree.
For me, John Terry is the exact opposite of the culture needed in RL.
Banned for racism. Stripped of the England captaincy not once, but twice. Parking in disabled parking spaces. Nightclub ‘incidents’ leading to assault charges. Relieving himself in a pint class in a club and getting thrown out. Taunting American holiday-makers and joking about the Twin Towers attack on the day it happened.
And that’s before we even start to consider his biggest crime - getting dressed up in his kit for finals when he isn’t even playing, so it looks like he did on the photos.

Pure guesswork on my part Notts. Genuinely no idea why either are involved. Mind you, Wane doesn't strike me as a man that worries about morals!

Surprised he's not asked Mr Powell to help him out...
