He's kept faith with other players who've not done as well since the re-start before Lockdown he was playing great
Is there a England match coming up ?

It’s always difficult having an England coach so tied to a certain club and therefore players who play or have played for that club during his time as a coach.
Nine players in the squad who have previously played under Wane at Wigan. Including Ryan Sutton, who has been bang average for Canberra, but has apparently been better than Watts.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Watts turned down Wigan when he moved from Hull to Cas, either.
We are obviously biased, but stats don’t tend to lie and Watts is amongst a small group of props to be at the top (or close to the top) of all the stats you would look at for a prop forward (metres, post-contact metres, offloads, few errors etc).

There are two separate ‘lists’ - one for SL players in the squad and one for NRL-based players.
Thinking about it, it seems really strange to pick a ‘squad’ at all. They can’t train, can’t meet and have no games for a year. It seems to be a completely pointless ‘squad’.
In other sports (ie ones that are taken seriously) an international squad is only selected when there are going to be games played. In RL, we select one in the middle of a global pandemic when there are no games until November 2021. Weird.

Wane is picking players on form but then announces percival and Newman. Both injured and haven't played much recently if at all..

I'm happy we've only macca, the players need to sort themselves out for next year.

Evalds looked good in the cc final. He's going to be so good for us.

Until he walks into the ground, trips on a broken paving slab, damages his ACL and is out injured for the duration of his contract at Cas...🙈🙈🙈

I think I agree, selfishly focussing on ourselves. Macca in the squad but isn't going to play is he.

That’s the stupid thing about it - NOBODY is going to play. It’s a squad that’s not a squad because there are no games until the end of 2021!
I will be playing as many games for England over the next year as the players in this ‘squad’.
It’s a pseudo-squad. A fallacy. It doesn’t exist in the real world.

Mine aswell. The counting should have stopped with the lowest matches played and subtracting points against Toronto and kr. It should be noted we've played all the top 4 teams and some in the playoffs haven't.
