I’m wondering where this Luke Gale was at Old Trafford in 2017.

Unfortunately for us he looks like he learnt from that day.

That said his forward pack have been very good so far, giving him space to perform.

That’s true. He didn’t have this kind of field position to work with at Old Trafford.

He’s also getting hit late after every pass. Must be playing by different rules in the cup...

Wigan have been awful if you can't play with more spirit than that in a big game it's a poor show
Fair play to Luke admitted he didn't play well enough in the grand final

Sneyd also learned from his poor Challenge Cup Final for us . That’s frustrating too when they both produce it for two of our biggest rivals

What a job Ian Watson has done....Well done Salford!

As Super League clubs go Wakefield now hold the longest wait for a Wembley visit title.....

Hope they do. Not just because it will give the Loiners a bloody nose but I think Ian Watson deserves it for the way he goes about his business.

He's had to rebuild the team every year yesterday it was full of players there previous clubs couldn't wait to get rid of
Just shows what can be done when players buy into what there coach is asking

Watson and Salford seem to be on a similar journey to we were on when Daryl first came to Cas.
Like most neutrals we will be cheering on Salford

I think Watson was a school p.e teacher in his playing days, maybe a good grounding for coaching. He clearly has a good blend of encouragement, communication, game plan and attention to detail to wring the most out of a ever changing squad.

I see many similarities and give equal praise to both Watson and the players. Would love to see a different club having some success but I understand there's a great deal of sentiment with thoughts about Rob Burrows.

Hate to say it, but we miss his leadership on the field.
Without our first choice half backs we lack leadership and gale would help. Only he didn't want to be here. Remember stale fair.

Remind me how they did resting gale and lui last week? We're they perhaps lacking leadership and direction?
