He certainly improved the sky coverage hope he gets a full time job when he calls it a day playing

In the other game I thought Hardaker was outstanding could easily captain the team next season

It's been rumoured for a while, taken with player(s) refusing to wear the data analyser meters and players breaking covid rules.

Carter has backed Chester with more new players than any other team since covid, I counted 4 could be more but he's had no response from them.

Poching is coming at the end of the year to assist. Maybe an Orr/Poching combo?

Goes from bad to worse.

Chris Chester announces that three Wakefield players and one member of staff have tested positive for Covid-19. Two further people - one player and staff member - also stood down for test and trace

So true.

If they players don't play to the coaches instructions, then it's their fault. But it's a fine line, especially with the refs calls we've got recently.

Chester as denied it all in his interview.
So who knows, maybe the media blowing it all up out of proportion.

I’d love to know how many of our players have caught covid compared with other clubs, we seem to have had more than our fair share. I wonder if our players have been socialising more than other clubs?

Looks like an differences the coach and the players had have been sorted.

They could even jump above us in the league 😳

It only takes one win to get in a roll.
After our game v HKR I though we’d turned the corner. But olly Holmes put a stop to that.
Now Covid as totally disturbed our season.
Yep I think wakey will leap over us.
I think 8th will be the best we’ll finish, looking more like 9/10th.

With I imagine next year's seasons tickets being hard to sell its a big plus for them to finish the season strongly

Whoever leaked that story to the Star has done them a big favour!

Why did WMDC loan/give Wakefield Trinity £3m to buy an asset valued at £1.5m? It just doesn’t make any sense (unless of course someone was benefiting from such a deal within WMDC).
The timing of that deal is also suspicious - literally a month before Hussain’s assets were frozen.

I think it’s fair to speculate that WMDC and the club were desperate to buy back the land because they knew exactly what was going to happen to Hussain. And because they were so desperate, they caved and paid him twice as much as it is worth. The issue is that this was public money being used to buy land at an inflated price from someone who was the subject of a police investigation.

The big question is - who was in on it with Hussain, and who else eventually profited financially from this mis-use of public money?
Didn’t think this one would end there!

From a council tax payers perspective, I would love to know the details of the loan arrangement with the council. How many years to pay it off? At what interest rate? Have WT paid off any of the loan yet?

Far all we know it might be a tenner a week for the next 6 thousand years.
