This was the bloke that owned Belle Vue. Didn't he buy it for around £700K in 2016 and then Wakie Council loaned the pussycats £3m to buy it back in 2019 ?

He wasn’t the club owner, he owned the ground after buying it off the BOI. We paid him (apparently) extortionate tent.

There is still a lot more to this than meets the eye, I suspect.
Why did WMDC loan/give Wakefield Trinity £3m to buy an asset valued at £1.5m? It just doesn’t make any sense (unless of course someone was benefiting from such a deal within WMDC).
The timing of that deal is also suspicious - literally a month before Hussain’s assets were frozen.

I think it’s fair to speculate that WMDC and the club were desperate to buy back the land because they knew exactly what was going to happen to Hussain. And because they were so desperate, they caved and paid him twice as much as it is worth. The issue is that this was public money being used to buy land at an inflated price from someone who was the subject of a police investigation.

The big question is - who was in on it with Hussain, and who else eventually profited financially from this mis-use of public money?

Wakefield’s accounts to November 2019 show that they took a £3.2m loan to buy an asset that was valued at £1.7m. They have paid nothing of that loan back.
So again - why would WMDC loan the club £3.2m to buy something worth £1.7m? Why would the club buy an asset worth £1.7m for £3.2m? And why is this not being repaid?

This £3.2m is public money. There needs to be some serious questions asked about who, within WMDC, has made the decision to loan public money so that the club can to buy something for double it’s value. Because at the moment, it stinks of corruption.

It's been rumoured for a while, taken with player(s) refusing to wear the data analyser meters and players breaking covid rules.

Carter has backed Chester with more new players than any other team since covid, I counted 4 could be more but he's had no response from them.

Poching is coming at the end of the year to assist. Maybe an Orr/Poching combo?
