Re: Murdoch Masila
Is it the result of Warrington having marquee players? It can’t go down with the rest of the squad, especially the ones getting smashed around in the forwards whilst the marquee men stand behind them waiting to pass the ball to the next forward to get hammered.

Re: Murdoch Masila
I’d like us to keep McMeeken, but he’s no star. If they want to pay over the odds for him, we’ll use his cap space on someone else.
Re: Murdoch Masila
McMeeks out of contract end of year. Unless he leaves now we will get nothing for him. He will walk for free.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑08 Mar 2020, 23:05I’d like us to keep McMeeken, but he’s no star. If they want to pay over the odds for him, we’ll use his cap space on someone else.

Yes, I meant hat if they want to pay over the odds on terms of his salary then they are welcome to.Swagger wrote: ↑09 Mar 2020, 07:53McMeeks out of contract end of year. We got him for nothing, so I don’t have an issue if he leaves for free.
I think I posted on another thread - it’s an interesting situation with him. When he signed his current deal he was the best back rower in the league. He is now a long way from that and he has gone backwards rather than forwards. Quite rightly, players expect a pay rise when they develop and improve. But he hasn’t, so we certainly shouldn’t be giving him an improved contract.
