Great suggestion HT I echo your idea whole heartedly.
Rob is a cracking guy and it was a shock watching the interview. He's made of stern stuff and it shows how much he's thought of by the way the Rugby League family are already rallying around.

So sad

Surely they need to name something after him. Like Rob Burrow young player of the year?
Whilst I agree with the sentiment, I think that we, as a society, are now too quick to do things like this. In about 5 years time, we would run out of things to put players names to.

Gutted, shocked, desperate feeling for his children.

I have absolutely appalling issues going on at the momsnt; really bad, but it just goes to show how much more worse off some people are.

Brought a tear to the eye watching his interview. I really hope his family and himself are looked after spevery juncture,

Difficult to find the words to describe how Rob & his family must be feeling right now.

Hang in there fella. The RL family are all with you at this very difficult time.

This was why I was always against just putting names on every other trophy. However Rob is arguably synonymous with the superleague grand final so maybe they should call that the Rob Burrow trophy.

I do agree though that some of the people that have stuff named after them sometimes don’t deserve the honour.

This is a truly awful condition that affects many that do not have fame to help raise their profile. I do hope some of the funds raised will go towards fighting the condition as a whole.

Great to see people getting on board with the fund for Rob. Nearly hitting the 200k mark in such a short time. Well done to all the rugby league family. We're always there for one of our own.

I know as Cas fans we don't really care much for the whinos, but on this occasion it has nothing to do with the colours of the shirt, but the bloke who happens to have worn those colours. Rob Burrows is a fantastic bloke and was a pleasure to watch going about his business in those colours. I'm sure all RL fans including us Cas fans can only wish Rob and his family all the best in his fight against this terrible diagnosis. We are with you Rob Burrows.

I remember the first time I saw him play.
Before kick off l turned to some Rhino fans saying it was out of order for him to play and no doubt he had Ester Rantzens phone number and would be on to Child Line as soon as he was tackled.
At full-time l turned to the same Rhino's fans and said he would be a world beater and l wish he was wearing Black and Amber.
You defied the odds as a player.
The wishes of all fans go to you and your family as you face your biggest challenge.

theres a brilliant two page spread in todays daily mail where david coverdale interviews rob. its a hard read but rob as always comes over as very brave and cheery.
its just a shame it takes such a sad story for rugby league to get this amount of coverage in the nationals.

MND on national news today, new extensive drug trials. Let’s hope something positive happens for Rob as a result.

Don't know if anyone saw Rob and Doddie Weir on breakfast news this morning laughing and joking with each other ,There doing a wonderful job of raising awareness of MND and I'm sure giving hope and inspiration to others with the dreadful disease

If truth be told, the colour of the shirt Rob wore while he was playing did matter because he played for our Big city neighbour's, but beneath the shirt was a cracking bloke with the heart of a lion and a bloke who we all would have had in whatever clubs colours you support. To watch this bloke face his biggest battle head on, and with the dignity he has shown is something to behold indeed, and without doubt puts everything in to perspective. I would be a liar if I said I didn't shed a tear, but I'm not a liar and I certainly did. We are with you Rob and your amazing family. 🙏
