2020 season squads

21 players in squads for next season and if you make a change to your squad you lose a interchange on match day

good idea for me but it doesn't apply if you re-call a dual reg player.

Some of these rules come with rules, that also have rules - just complicates things. Can't understand why it isn't simplified. For me, the main rule change should be to have 1 set of rules (SL, NRL, International).

That’s great and easy for super league clubs but some teams in both the championship and league 1 don’t even have 21 players in a squad. As we know DR and loans are important to these clubs and that why the rules are there.
The common sense answer would have been to have different rules for different divisions.
overall it gives coaches greater flexibility, imo I’d have 6 players on the bench 2 of which have to be under 23 but say only 4 can enter the field of play,in games where there is a dominant team it would give the coach a option to give a youngster a taste of first team rugby.
