London Broncos
London look certain to beat Les Catsfield
Who have squandered chance after chance and appear to have learned nothing about discipline.
Come on Broncos who have been on the end of a few iffy decisions.
Shame Hull have capitulated.

Well done to London great to seem team spirit like theve got given themselves every chance of staying up
Catalans the complete opposite awful team even got one of there players perfecting a kind of volantery little somersault when he's being tackled so he lands on his head trying to get a bloke sent to bin disgrace I thought that was

Whoever loses tomorrow’s game between Wakefield and Hull KR is in big trouble.
I think Wakefield are favourites for the drop given their form and the fact they’ve got to play Hull KR away tomorrow.

Great shout. Many things that I love about our game were displayed by London today. Guts, effort, belief, team work and determination.Bolton-tiger wrote:Either him or ian watson with salford.both done a brilliant job with little capSuffolkTiger wrote:Brilliant from London.

It will be a great shame if the RFL cannot secure the game in the capital as opposed to messing about in Canada, New York etc...

Re: London Broncos
I find it difficult to believe that London in their many guises and homes have never secured a decent following.
The development is coming along and the catchment is amazing.
It's a pity that others have signed up some of their best players.
As if they do survive they will be hard pressed to replace like for like.

Fulham used to get good crowds in early 80s I remember going down to watch cas playing at craven cottage around Christmas time during that period once

Re: London Broncos
Whatever happens, London have done themselves proud this year.
To be honest, at the start of the season I thought they might be the first team not to win a game all year. They came up to SL at a time when it’s difficult and put faith in the players that earned them promotion, plus a few players who wouldn’t have been taken on by other SL clubs. On paper, they should be down by now.
But the game isn’t played on paper. Danny Ward has instilled a belief and team spirit that has given a team who should be going down a belief that they can compete.
I hope they stay up.

I hope they stay up as well. I will add they try and play entertaining rugby as well and don't employ grubby tactics like Catalans for examplenottinghamtiger wrote:Whatever happens, London have done themselves proud this year.

Toronto get 7.5k and right now offer much more than London.SuffolkTiger wrote:Great shout. Many things that I love about our game were displayed by London today. Flatcappers can’t moan about that when we can’t even get that and we have 100 years of history. Heartland clubs can’t even secure their own futures.

Re: London Broncos
Toronto may get 7.5k or more likely 5k as i can not belive anything that comes out of that club. But so what. 90 cent of Toronto players are ex championship players who could not make it when leigh played in super league plus some nrl players who want a pay cheque vs 90 cent of london who live the game in a new area, and want to develop the game. Neither brink any fans to the game, but I would rather travel 200 miles to watch a game rather than 5000 miles for a supposed "beer festival" on a pitch with more markings than players, when a game can actually be played without snow on then pitch. Owned by a a man more interested in promoting his airline than RL.

Re: London Broncos
David Argyle has nothing to do with Air Transat from what I know?
Their squad composition is irrelevant. Most Championship clubs feature ex Super League players or players who can’t make it in SL. I disagree that Toronto players don’t embrace living there. I reckon there are quite a few players over there proud to be growing the game in a new area and being trailblazers for the sport. Fans moaned about Catalans when they came in and they have largely been a positive addition. However, they need to start adding much more in terms of international development. We can only judge Toronto fairly after 10-20 years of being involved in the game like other clubs.
Bringing fans to a game is something a club should never fall back on. I’d rather watch a vibrant sport, with big crowds and great atmosphere and if that involves beer tents so be it. They did it differently and are catering towards their audience and North American culture.

Dont know if it's been said but my main problem with toronto is they have no canadian/american players in there team. Every other team can only have so many overseas players, but every toronto player is overseas

Re: London Broncos
I suppose that is the next argument, at what point do they start blooding young Canadian players. At the minute, they are a million mile away from that.dude wrote:Dont know if it's been said but my main problem with toronto is they have no canadian/american players in there team.
