Re: Andrew Fafita
Would be a world class signing
Re: Andrew Fafita
Good signing if true, can only see it being while at George clear some cap space though.

Wakey aren't the right fit, nor is Chester a good enough coach to get the best out of him. Cronulla can't even do it.

Re: Andrew Fafita
I joked about us signing him when he started the season in the QRL, but he’s just continued playing there rather than building some fitness and coming back into the NRL squad.
He signed a contract in 2017 to the end of 2022. At the time, he was one of the top NRL forwards; he’s on $800k AUD (over 400k GBP) a season for the next two years at Cronulla. He’d need to take a huge pay-cut to come to SL.

Leeds are making a late push also according to press reports.

Cronulla may pay a big chunk of his wages?nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑11 Apr 2021, 22:34I joked about us signing him when he started the season in the QRL, but he’s just continued playing there rather than building some fitness and coming back into the NRL squad.

Just picked up a three match ban in a reserve grade match or would likely have been in Cronulla squad this week.
If he went to Wakefield with his bother they would likely rule over the club - good luck having those two

Maybe - and I guess they'd rather do that for a SL team than a rival in the NRL!Nobody wrote: ↑12 Apr 2021, 08:19Cronulla may pay a big chunk of his wages?nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑11 Apr 2021, 22:34I joked about us signing him when he started the season in the QRL, but he’s just continued playing there rather than building some fitness and coming back into the NRL squad.

And we’ve just allowed Tangata to move to Halifax which will give us a free overseas spot, make of that what you will?

He is the better brother by a long way. He'll want big money. After hearing some stories about them together, it'll only turn out badly.but you never know.
They certainly both have the x factor.
