Re: Millo
When, next season, this season.
I once read a quote that he’d never play for another club over here apart from cas.

Re: Millo
League express says he signed at Bradford for next year. He definitely wants another year at Cas but unfortunately Radford wants a younger player which is understandable. All the best to Grant hope once he retires he stays in the game in some capacity.

Re: Millo
I'd heard Millo wanted to Jack in after this year and go back to Aus so I'm surprised.
Another club legend but we can't have sentiment if we want to compete.
Hoe many minutes did he do on Saturday? I don't remember him coming back on.

Re: Millo
He seems desperate to squeeze every last drop out of his rugby career. Personally i think it’s probably retirement time for him but he might be able to get a season of championship rugby out of himself. Super league again would likely be a step too far though.
Re: Millo
Probably spend the year part time with Bradford while completing his badges. Not a bad decision. Keeps him getting paid while sorting his future out.

Re: Millo
He looked absolutely devastated on Saturday, more than any other player. He looked like a man who knew that was his last shot at glory with us. For me, he is our best import in the SL era, for longevity and what he has brought to the club. Not one person can ever say he's never given his all for us. He leaves to any other club with my blessing. Fantastic player on the field and an even better bloke off it to speak to. He got what we are about straight away, an adopted Cas lad.

Re: Millo
I’d love to see both Shenny and Millo kept on by the club working with academy, coaching etc… Neither of them have a SL season left in them playing wise but I do think there is a place at the club for them both. However, if Millo thinks his body is up to going round again in the Championship I wish him all the very best. I agree with Heritage - Definitely our best import in the SL era and has become one of our own.LeagueLeaders wrote: ↑19 Jul 2021, 13:57Very good sign is this. Re: Millo
all the best for the future millo but not sure bradford is the best choice. his ball skills would be wasted under kear as he employs props as battering rams as part of his 5 drives and a kick plan.
agree with others though deffo our best import.

Re: Millo
Oh I agree 100% he's been an incredible servant for the club as has Shenton but it is time now. Will be glad to see Millo go without ruining his legacy which I feel Shenton has to an extent. I'll admit, I now find myself saying "What are you doing Shenton?" quite often and think it's a shame he didn't retire before it got to this stagederbystiger wrote: ↑19 Jul 2021, 17:22I’d love to see both Shenny and Millo kept on by the club working with academy, coaching etc… Neither of them have a SL season left in them playing wise but I do think there is a place at the club for them both. Re: Millo
Would love to see Millo stay with us as a coach but you just can't employ everyone that retires from playing. What's more, the man himself may wish to keep playing at the lower level and this must surely prevent him from providing input at another club whilst trying to train with his new one?
In spite of that, his efforts at Cas have not gone unnoticed by the fans and he'll long be remembered by many of us as a loyal servant who gave his all. Great bloke, great player.
