Re: Alex Sutcliffe
We've done well if we've beat off other teams to sign him have to wait to see if these rumours about players Radford as signed are true or not but if they are he's putting together a good team and getting players to want to come and play for him and Cas

Re: Alex Sutcliffe
Don't think he was in the squad for their game against Hull either.
Re: Alex Sutcliffe
He's injured.

Re: Alex Sutcliffe
Forgive me if I’ve read it wrong but all Agar has done is confirm he will be leaving Leeds at the end of the season. The journalist then says;
He is now expected to join Castleford Tigers, who are understood to have secured his services on a four-year deal
Hardly a confirmation of signing

Re: Alex Sutcliffe
Clubs including Cas think that young club grown players will continue to sign for relative peanuts no matter what. So they continually offer poor deals whilst waisting shedloads on older wasters. The RFL draconian rules ties a young homegrown player in until they are 22 yrs of age so the continued exploitation carries on. Until like Sutcliffe the player has a voice and says to the club “No more”. Leeds tried to keep him on the cheap simple as. 4 years is too long at Cas though. Initially 2 years with decent future incentives should be the deal. Will we ever learn?
Re: Alex Sutcliffe
its never that simple. 4 years is a long contract but maybe the extra year is what won it for us .Let’s talk sense wrote: ↑04 Jun 2021, 21:36 Clubs including Cas think that young club grown players will continue to sign for relative peanuts no matter what. Makes sense if he’s not a part of their future plans.

Re: Alex Sutcliffe
Strange one this, sending him to Fev. I read into it that he's being punished for signing elsewhere. We did it with Mitch and didn't play him (he didn't warrant playing either)
I wouldn't want to try and get him early.
