Re: Mamo
Would be taking Mamo 100% easily got pace to burn as a winger with Turner and Peanut as centres and can play centres and fullback when needed. If Mata'utia is leaving tho then wouldn't want him as a first choice centre, not big enough imo. That said aren't we close to signing Sutcliffe anyway? Surely Mamo wouldn't be our centre then

Playing best I've seen him Mamo hope we sign him

This thread sums up the post by Hudds Tiger in the Turner extension thread. Everyone has an opinion and for me, that's what I like about a forum.
I'd take him but suspect he'd want more than we'd offer or what I'd view as his worth.
Re: Mamo
Mamo is a full back for me only playing wing/centre cause hes not good enough to push ratchford out.

Re: Mamo
Would only have him on the wing or back up for Evalds.

Re: Mamo
I hope we have done the deal with this lad, cas could be red hot next year if they have.
Re: Mamo
The one thing we missing what worries me for wembley is sheer pace and feel we need to bring a couple of players with sheer pace in for next season. Over recent seasons we lacked cover in halves and full back which we now seem to have addressed so hopefully will do this with injecting some pace too

Re: Mamo
Would not be surprised (Due to his massive upturn in form since securing a regular position) that Warrington have kept him on a new improved deal at the last minute, I think he's staying put, just a feeling, why would they let him go, he's a try machine and tackling much better now.
Re: Mamo
If he’s already signed for us, then I guess it’d be too late. However, if he only agreed a deal then the door is open for him to sign elsewhere. Time will tell on this one.Tigerwood posse wrote: ↑01 Jul 2021, 15:09 Would not be surprised (Due to his massive upturn in form since securing a regular position) that Warrington have kept him on a new improved deal at the last minute, I think he's staying put, just a feeling, why would they let him go, he's a try machine and tackling much better now.
Re: Mamo
well if mamo hasn't signed who are we likely to have in centres as i doubt shenny will go another year & peanut is leaving ?
Re: Mamo
He said himself he has signed and it’s just upto the club in question to announce it when it suits them. Personally if it’s us(which I’m 95% certain it is)I’d be announcing it now while he is playing very well and is a positive news story for the club
