Just had a txt claiming that John Kear is getting the director of football job darnt lane, txt came from his nephew. would this be a good move or not?

Agree with that. He was a year above me at school. Cas through and through. Great personality and keen rugby brain.

Would be glad if that was true,kear is a shrewd man with bags of knowledge on the game,and passionate about cas. Him and steve gill in roles at the club would bring some passion back to the club once powell exits.

I'm sure I read/heard that he took a step away from SL as he no longer wanted to be involved full-time. Not sure how you Coach a championship side but part-time seems plausible.

One thing with john is that he as never failed to show is support for cas and will give this job 100% unless some who seemed more interested in what sky wanted
