He has signed for em, done deal.heritage1926 wrote: ↑13 May 2021, 10:39 Warrington fans already seem to think he's signed with them and are talking about where he fits in to the team. Now they're either surmising or someone over there knows something.

If there blood brothers they could all go for me none of them would be a great lossold cas lass wrote: ↑12 May 2021, 20:26 Didn’t Holmes, Massey and Milner do a pod cast a few weeks ago where
They said they were like blood brothers , all starting their career at the same time all coming through the system at cas.
All hoping to be one club man.
And to finish their career at cas.

Re: Oggy
when oggy gets an injury it always seems to take him an age to get back to his best (which he is now) but then he gets another injury and the cycle starts all over again. for me he walks into most teams when fully fit but very rarely is.

Re: Oggy
He is an out and out left second row. Like meeks right sided player.
Oggy had played a bit this year on the middle and looks OK. But you don't get the breaks and tries.

Re: Oggy
Be ideal replacement for Jason Clark and would be ideal middle man for Wire but also good cover for them in the back row.

Let him go then we only want players that want to play for Cas

Re: Oggy
If this is true, he signed a contract and agreed to play for Cas until the end of the 2021 season. He’s done that so, if he does go, he will do with my blessing.

Re: Oggy
Heard he’s signed a 3yr deal at Warrington.
So let’s see.

Re: Oggy
I think Holmes is a loss, hes probably our most aggressive player at present and is regurlarly targeting other teams forwards with legal aggression.
Stats never tell the whole story, but can indicate defensive workload. Holmes is:
10th highest tackler
5th highest market tackler
In superleague (Lawlor is not far behind him I note).

People making out hes not a big loss are clueless . Hes been the best forward after mcshane this year easily .

Re: Oggy
Typical of most teams fans - when someone’s leaving, all of a sudden, they become replaceable. Take George Lawler - according to Hull KR fans he was the player to build a side round for years to come. When rumours started that he would be leaving at the end of the year, surprise surprise, he’s not that good and easily replaced. Nothing to do with being clueless, more to do with some fans trying to convince themselves the player isn’t as good as they know he is in order to make them feel better about him leaving. It happens every year, with a few fans from every team.
Re: Oggy
People who think Holmes isn’t replaceable are clueless. He’s spent most of this three year deal on the treatment table and, surprise surprise, in the season he is playing for a new deal, is playing at a level he never he done before.

Re: Oggy
Jsl was a superb left second row in 2017. He ran excellent lines. Oggy is different.
If he goes, he goes. He's earnt the right without being moaned at. They must be paying good money and long contracts.
