What's the issue of what they earn. I've no idea what any of them earn. It's not football on 100's thousands per week. They all have to earn a living. They all go on that pitch, run into a brick wall every tackle and put in more effort than any footballer. I know a lot like their football as well, but show some perspective.

Show some perspective? This is professional rugby league so, of course, earnings makes a difference on ‘value for money’ - hence why I said ‘on the face of it’ as I have no clue how much any player earns. If a player is fairly solid and steady on, for example, 50K you’d say they were value for money. If it’s an overseas player that’s on £100K, for example, and taking up a quota space but are still just ‘solid and steady’ then they are not value for money. Very simple.

Easy to take cheap shots against the players on quotas. I remember same being said against vowles and Webster. I also remember fans clammering for a centre, cas went out and got Blair - on paper a great signing. Not everything turns out,and maybe his style didn't suit cas. But he has switched to 2nd row, done a decent job. Caused no issues. Puts the game time in, scores a few tries and tightened up the defence. We have a winning team, top 4 team and people still complain. Come on folks say well done for once.

Surely this is more to do with Blair been at the end of his 3 year contract and Cas not wanting to extend it rather than Blair wanting to go home.

Id agree if hes on a big wage like some on here claim to know then hes not been worth it overall so give the money saved to radders to find a replacement.

Signed half way through 2019 on a 3 1/2 year deal.......another year yet on his deal (which doesn't mean he won't ask for a early release for family reasons)

His partner got permission to go back to Australia about 6 month ago. She couldn't settle at all.

I’ve no idea what Chesney (a nod to Gateman) is on but I can’t see him upping sticks to the other side of the world and separating himself from his young family for a poxy £80k a year

Whatever happens, I'm sure he won't get as much publicity as George Williams is. Either way, whilst you want to provide for your family, it must be hard being separated from your close support bubble for long periods so I understand the pressure this may bring.
