Matautia
Re: Matautia
To sign Minikin would be another backward step he is not good enough I hope Radford can sign 2 strong centres and a couple of props, if it means off loading Truman to add extra cash to make these signings would prefer to go this way. One other problem I see is how much leeway will Radford be given in making signings as I could be wrong don’t think any of those silent board members could be of help with recommendations

That’s the worst I’ve seen Mata’utia play.

Re: Matautia
Some players know they are going.
Now I know it shouldn’t make a difference, but if they are in the mind set of not being bothered, and some did tonight, matautia being one of them, it don’t bode well for the season.
If we don’t get a reaction next week then I will seriously worried.

Re: Matautia
I guess every player had the odd poor game.
I do rate Mata’utia, but he needs to be much better than he was tonight.

Re: Matautia
He as one good game in every 4 or 5 matches were he makes brakes and looks a decent player if it wasn't for the Powell connection I'd be amazed if Warrington even gave a thought to sign him

Re: Matautia
Just seen the so called attempted tackle.
Pathetic, shrugged him off like he was an under 12.
He knew if they scored that it would be curtains for us.
He just didn’t seem bothered or commited.

Re: Matautia
I'll drop Mata'utia off at Warrington today, if someone gives me petrol money.
Re: Matautia
Was a typical tired “late in the game” attempt. Up to that point, I don’t recall PM missing a tackle.

Re: Matautia
Just off his game all night, spent more time running sidewards than forwards
He'll need to be alot better against Inglis

Looks like Inglis picked up a hamstring injury last night - very doubtful he'll be playing by the semi-final, never mind next week.the machine wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 09:48Just off his game all night, spent more time running sidewards than forwards

No concerns just interested.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑18 May 2021, 10:49I never really have concerns about this.
They will gain nothing if Warrington do well this year, but they do stand to gain if Cas win.

Re: Matautia
Bit like trueman, might aswell cash in on him.
In fact never seen trueman truly boss a full game. He does a few quality things like 1 in 5 game and sky went there pants about it.

Spot on. Peanut had the worst game I can remember him having.
I was stood with a very clear view of our right edge defence and it was pathetic.
To be fair, Turner and Olpherts were not not much better but PM looked scared of Kenny-Dowell and totally clueless every time HKR atttacked that side.

Re: Matautia
I guess you could argue that he 'didn't miss a tackle' based on the fact he wasn't even close to laying a hand on Shaun Kenny-Dowell for most of the game.
We were absolutely ripped to pieces on our right edge.
