I think James Grehan was a long shot at the time but Peter Coyne came with a big reputation, also I think we had to wait a year to see him. Slightly disappointing I seemed to remember after viewing him in a Cas shirt

Sean Rudder was spectacularly poor after coming from Newcastle I believe where he was Andrew Johns half back partner

Which is why I rate John’s as the best half back I’ve ever seen play the game.I always knew he was good but imagine carrying that useless [REMOVED] every week as well.

Could be my memory! But they definitely beat us on his return.

He was garbage for us, but can't imagine he travelled half way around the world for a dogs abuse every week!

He played for Catalan in 2006. Widnes beat us in the cup that year. Catalan did beat us home and away in 2006 though, with Rudder playing in both games.
