Trueman going nowhere! ...
Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
I'm still hopeful tho if we get Richardson fit to play with Trueman Evalds and Macca in the spine we can win something this year unless injuries blight us again that is

Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
I think it’s possible.
But those players (bar McShane) need to go up a level if it’s going to happen, especially Trueman and Richardson.
At the moment, we aren’t good enough to crack the best defences enough times to win a game (especially a big game when defences tend to go up a level too).
Sure we’ll win plenty and we’ll compete with the best. But when it comes to coming out on the right side of a tight game against the likes of Wigan or Saints, those players need to step up and be better than they have been so far.
Wigan know that if they keep putting the ball into the hands of Hardaker, French and Hastings then something will happen. Same at Saints - give the ball to Coote, Fages, Lomax and Roby enough times and they’ll do something to break a defence. Even at Warrington - Clarke, Ratchford and Austin are potential game-breakers. At Cas, we only have McShane who can produce a high-quality play to break a game.
Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
Wigan have three x-factor players St Helens are like a machine just ground teams down I'd be surprised if they don't win the two trophys between them but I give us a chance if we have near enough are full team out ...and a bit of lucknottinghamtiger wrote: ↑23 Apr 2021, 08:53I think it’s possible.

Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
Warrington have won the race to sign George Williams according to reports in Aus.Surely this will end the Trueman to wire link??
Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
Given its “according to reports” I doubt it, added to the fact you get more things wrong than a politician...

Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
Not sure how they have won the race for him, when Wigan have first refusal on him. If Wigan pass on him, then I'd imagine Warrington or Leeds go all out for him, until then, he more than likely re-signs for Wigan.covid tiger wrote: ↑07 May 2021, 09:47 Warrington have won the race to sign George Williams according to reports in Aus.Surely this will end the Trueman to wire link??
Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
It says they're favourites, wire, to sign him, but, pie eaters had it in the contract they had first refusal and Williams is a Wigan lad...so we'll see what happens.

Well Widdopp and Austin are supposedly both off end of this season so theres room for William's and Turner. Now that would be a tasty combination.covid tiger wrote: ↑07 May 2021, 09:47 Warrington have won the race to sign George Williams according to reports in Aus.Surely this will end the Trueman to wire link??

Williams and Turner???
Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...

CLASSY CAS FOREVER
Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
Clubs just jockeying for position at the moment in terms of half backs for next season, it's going to take Wire,Wigan or Saints to announce a signing for 2022 to get the merry-go-round started. With three or four potential movers within Super League and 17 NRL half backs out of contract this season it's going to be clear as mud until someone puts pen yo paper.

Hope he wants to stay and turning an offer down doesn't bite us on the backside.

Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
I'd sell him to an NRL for 150k if it means another SL team doesn't get him, but if Warrington or Wigan want him, then nothing less than 250k will do.old cas lass wrote: ↑14 May 2021, 12:33Worth more than that.Nobody wrote: ↑14 May 2021, 12:31 https://twitter.com/AaronBower/status/1 ... 01249?s=19

If we can sell Trueman for a fair amount of money and bring in Fages for free, we're laughing.
