But the work load was ridiculous, so stuck with the job he had.
So it does happen, that’s why I asked.

- What's the commuting distance?westerbeast73 wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 16:15 Ok I'll ask a different question which you can only answer with either YES or NO. Stay were you work or move to another company doing the same job but for twice the salary. Different company, different people but you will be doing exactly the same job.
- Where am I based & what are house prices like in comparison to where I live?
- how good are the schools?
- how far am I from my family?
I could go on.....

You have to live out 2 nights a week in a hotel the other 3 days you work from home. You dont need to move house or re locate. 2 hours drive from your home.SuffolkTiger wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 16:18- What's the commuting distance?westerbeast73 wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 16:15 Ok I'll ask a different question which you can only answer with either YES or NO. If an individual is purely motivated by money the answer is easy. Luckily not everyone is!

You're right actually. Apologies.Let’s talk sense wrote: ↑15 May 2021, 16:54 Depends how old Westerbeast73 is. She/He may not have faced such life changing decisions as of yet.
At my proposed new company:
- Is there a KFC within walking distance?
- How fast is the wi-fi?
- How many varieties of Monster are in the canteen range?
- Are garment hoods allowed in the up setting on company premises?
- Are visible tattoos permitted in non customer facing roles?
- Can I book paid time off for talent show auditions under the guise of career development?
- Has any employee from my potential new employer ever got through the initial application stage of any reality TV show?
- Does the company have its own own Snapchat platform?
- Is the wearing of fake tan frowned upon due to its effect on the environment or seen as aspirational and a sign of wellbeing?
