I reckon Williams will sign a 1.5m contact over 4 yrsGomersal Tiger wrote: ↑27 May 2021, 16:57 How about we accept £200k for Trueman and use that to pay for Williams. He could play for us for a year and a half and coat us nothing, W e would benefit surely, if he can live with the facilities we offer.

According the ITK on twitter, I think it is, Trueman has penned a new deal at Cas.

So Widdop is staying at Warrington for the 2022 season. Truemans contract runs out at the end of 2022. Coincidence? I think not.

Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
Trueman and Williams together at Warrington makes no sense. They are both running halfbacks so would not work well IMO. Surely Powell would want an organiser at Warringtonto compliment Williams. Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
I've watched Cas now about 45 years and before anyone starts my opinion is only as good as the next guy. 45 years or not. Anyway here goes. I've seen plenty of No 6s through the years. Some good, some great and some not so much. Brucey burton was 6 when I started watching and having seen JJ I Think I can see a half decent stand off or 5 eighth whatever they call it now when I see one. My point is I dont think trueman will make a decent 6 while ever I've got hole in my arris. To me he just doesn't cut it. And his kicking game is pathetic . I know all about playing behind a beaten pack and all that but he ain't cutting it for me. If there's 250k allegedly on the table pull their arm out from the socket. I dont see any Improvement between him and richardson and hes getting slated. I really hope Radford has someone else in mind to complement GOB. rant over

Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
There isn't a world class 6 in Super League anyway, some very good ones (Lomax, Maloney, Widdop), but none you'd put at the level of Cameron Munster and Nathan Clearly, they're the world class stand offs.

Re: Trueman going nowhere! ...
That’s where I am with him at the moment - if he’s fully fit then I’m afraid his performances aren’t exactly setting the world on fire and question if he’ll be good enough going forward. If he’s not fully fit then I can’t judge until he is. Difficult one as he has produced some class touches over the last couple of years but very inconsistent and almost looks frightened to take the ball to the line which suggests he either isn’t fit or his confidence is shot.

His suggestion seems to be that everyone dies anyway, so why bother to stop them dying
prematurely?
Thankfully, nobody is looking to him for medical advice.

You’ve gotta be kidding me?? Stupid lad. Whatever his thoughts/opinions are then fair enough, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. However, he is a professional sportsman playing in the elite league in his chosen sport so shouldn’t be broadcasting things like that to the world.old cas lass wrote: ↑19 Jul 2021, 22:58 I see trueman as put another silly tweet on his twitter page.

I watched Chucks career from being at school with him and IMO he was the best number 6 I have ever seen.lurcher wrote: ↑19 Jul 2021, 22:52not your fault mate but you obviously didn't see hardisty. the aussies rate him the best stand off ever to tour down there.yorky wrote: ↑19 Jul 2021, 17:09agree & i would say Steadman was our best to date.heritage1926 wrote: ↑19 Jul 2021, 16:34There isn't a world class 6 in Super League anyway, some very good ones (Lomax, Maloney, Widdop), but none you'd put at the level of Cameron Munster and Nathan Clearly, they're the world class stand offs.

I don’t do social media but I’d bet a lot of his followers are Cas fans, some of who have lost people due to COVID. Does he really want to go risking upsetting people who pay to see him play?the machine wrote: ↑20 Jul 2021, 15:34Professional sportsmanderbystiger wrote: ↑20 Jul 2021, 00:34You’ve gotta be kidding me??
