I reckon Williams will sign a 1.5m contact over 4 yrs

According the ITK on twitter, I think it is, Trueman has penned a new deal at Cas.

So Widdop is staying at Warrington for the 2022 season. Truemans contract runs out at the end of 2022. Coincidence? I think not.

Trueman and Williams together at Warrington makes no sense. They are both running halfbacks so would not work well IMO. Surely Powell would want an organiser at Warringtonto compliment Williams. Bit like Gale was to Benny in 17

I've watched Cas now about 45 years and before anyone starts my opinion is only as good as the next guy. 45 years or not. Anyway here goes. I've seen plenty of No 6s through the years. Some good, some great and some not so much. Brucey burton was 6 when I started watching and having seen JJ I Think I can see a half decent stand off or 5 eighth whatever they call it now when I see one. My point is I dont think trueman will make a decent 6 while ever I've got hole in my arris. To me he just doesn't cut it. And his kicking game is pathetic . I know all about playing behind a beaten pack and all that but he ain't cutting it for me. If there's 250k allegedly on the table pull their arm out from the socket. I dont see any Improvement between him and richardson and hes getting slated. I really hope Radford has someone else in mind to complement GOB. rant over

There isn't a world class 6 in Super League anyway, some very good ones (Lomax, Maloney, Widdop), but none you'd put at the level of Cameron Munster and Nathan Clearly, they're the world class stand offs.

That’s where I am with him at the moment - if he’s fully fit then I’m afraid his performances aren’t exactly setting the world on fire and question if he’ll be good enough going forward. If he’s not fully fit then I can’t judge until he is. Difficult one as he has produced some class touches over the last couple of years but very inconsistent and almost looks frightened to take the ball to the line which suggests he either isn’t fit or his confidence is shot.

His suggestion seems to be that everyone dies anyway, so why bother to stop them dying
prematurely?
Thankfully, nobody is looking to him for medical advice.

You’ve gotta be kidding me?? Stupid lad. Whatever his thoughts/opinions are then fair enough, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. However, he is a professional sportsman playing in the elite league in his chosen sport so shouldn’t be broadcasting things like that to the world.

I watched Chucks career from being at school with him and IMO he was the best number 6 I have ever seen.

I don’t do social media but I’d bet a lot of his followers are Cas fans, some of who have lost people due to COVID. Does he really want to go risking upsetting people who pay to see him play?
