One of the Aus coaches apparently who has applied for next seasons job... Think he had a short spell at Bradford.

Re: Geoff Toovey
Record with Bradford was appalling but for me I’d like to see an Englishman take the job such as Ford or Ward.

I really want someone to come in who will continue with our way of playing.
Free flowing, and not 5 drives down the middle.
We need continuity on what DP as built.

I think most people thought Toovey was doing a decent job at Manly when he got sacked then he had a bit of a poison chalice at Bradford
I'd have him before a few of the names I've seen

Are you watching the same Cas as me? Where is this free flowing rugby, Powell as always played by numbers not a free flowing off load game.old cas lass wrote: ↑05 Apr 2021, 17:22 I really want someone to come in who will continue with our way of playing.

Most important thing is someone who can come in and produce winning rugby.

Started last season on fire, playing some cracking rugby.
Sadly Covid put a stop to that after many players went down with it.
So what sort of rugby would you like to see.
The Shaun wane type or the DP type.

Re: Geoff Toovey
We might break the mould, , like RU have, a Director of Rugby, an attack coach and a defense coach.
Even I can recognise some of the England RU boys can make a shape and tackle.
What statement are we prepared to make as a club??
