Re: Brian Mcdermott
Or if price goes early let's not for get that ,woudnt be best start to his job if he tells them no as they hold the key to his funds to build at Warrington
If alls true with McDermott coming in early to overlook Powell(not sure how that will go ) then I predict the club won't stand in his way up sticks to Warrington if they come calling ,every time I see price on TV he looks misarable as sin probably can't wait to go home

Re: Brian Mcdermott
Is it within the rules for Wire to be approaching Cas with offers for players at this time?

That's exactly how it will pan out. Price will go Powell will take his place and just by coincidence NOT Mcdermot will already be at Cas to step straight into Powells shoes. It's almost like someone as thought about this already :-"Railway end man 2021 wrote: ↑09 Apr 2021, 11:57 Or if price goes early let's not for get that ,woudnt be best start to his job if he tells them no as they hold the key to his funds to build at Warrington

Well, I don’t like the bloke for some of the things he’s said over the past few years but, if he has got the gig, then the balls in his court to prove us wrong and get us onside. We are very fickle at times, as fans, and if we are sitting here in 18 months time with silverware that BM has brought to us all the past will be a distant memory.

McDermott come out n said hes had no contact with cas about the jobwesterbeast73 wrote: ↑09 Apr 2021, 12:24That's exactly how it will pan out. But when contacted by Rugby League Live, McDermott responded by saying: "I have had no contact with Castleford."

Mcdoughnut, John Wane and the worst coach HULL had in living history aren't coming to Cas.

If that's true make way for the cheap option and a massive step backwards. Championship here we come. McDermott will be the new coach :pray:stevieblunder wrote: ↑09 Apr 2021, 22:18 FFS.

Why is it that its only April fools day where people read something online and then question its validity. The other 364 days of the year we blindly follow any gossip online and take it as complete fact.

Re: Brian Mcdermott
It’s a funny one isn’t it? There’s a huge amount of drivel on here but months ago someone on here said Powell was off to Wire at the end of the season and was right. That’s why we still come on and from time to time get led on by the drivel.St Albans tiger wrote: ↑10 Apr 2021, 09:12 Why is it that its only April fools day where people read something online and then question its validity. Stoped clock is right at least twice a day
Throw enough rubbish and some will stick...
Price leaving at end of the year... Warrington rolling in money and desperate for success... Cas at a plateau in need of fresh imputus and off their peak, stands to reason in my books

Re: Brian Mcdermott
Saw a post on Facebook (I know it must be true ) but somebody tagged Andrew Henderson in post congratulating him on getting the CAS job
Probably make sense cheapest option, won't demand signings played for club etc
Woudnt have Being my choice, think we need a coach with a CV of at least winning trophies rather than someone who has never coached at the top level ....but I suppose you after start somewhere

Re: Brian Mcdermott
I wouldn’t want Henderson. Prefer McDermott or wane over him. Also, which of the Henderson brothers called the cas women Mingers ? Why do I think it’s him. Some years back I grant you, but if people are whinging about past comments about McDermott/ wane, well ..... ?
