I would love Joe back down the lane as he's still very hungry to rectify a few things that happened during his career here and I think that he'll go great for us in 2022
[Confirmed] Joe westerman

Re: Joe westerman
I've said it before and I'll say it again, when the rumours are Cas are signing X, they don't usually sign. When it's Cas player X has signed for Y, they usually leave.

Re: Joe westerman
i'm reliably told he has agreed to come, two year deal on the table. Not signed yet, rules dictate that, but will happen soon enough. Godd signing i reckon.

Re: Joe westerman
As a Hull fan, I was gutted that we didn't keep Joe Westerman on after his resigning from the Toronto debacle. He gives as much power as a front rower, with sublime handling skills at times, his goal kicking isn't shabby and he definitely seemed to be a more focussed player than the young man we signed from you originally. Hull didn't play the type of rugby that showcase his ball handling but Cas do, its their DNA and Evalds or Eden would score a lot of tries just by being on his shoulder. I think we didn't keep him to allow Lane and Cator a chance to develop, but with injuries to our pack biting already (something Cas can write the book on) he'd have been far more useful than a couple of other signings we made. I would have him back at Hull in a heartbeat, he always gave 100% and left nothing on the pitch.

He'll be 32 by time he comes to us i think he has to prove his self before getting a 2nd year.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 11:05No chance he will come to Cas for a 1 Year deal, will either be 2 or 3 Year contract for him to sign.

Oh yes beause they all new before they signed it was going to go [REMOVED] up. Toronto were paying big money, hence why he signed for them.lurcher wrote: ↑02 May 2021, 22:51of course he is, same as the other idiots that signed for toronto. savvy indeed.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑02 May 2021, 09:21Like I say he wont sign a 1 Year deal at any club, hes very savvy when it comes to contracts and money.jackknife wrote: ↑02 May 2021, 08:52He'll be 32 by time he comes to us i think he has to prove his self before getting a 2nd year.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 11:05No chance he will come to Cas for a 1 Year deal, will either be 2 or 3 Year contract for him to sign.
Re: Joe westerman
Actually, Toronto OFFERED big money. The paying was what went wrong in the end.
