Re: Powell, Hull
Only last week it was gonna be confirmed Ian Watson was gonna be the coach of Hull, I wouldn’t believe everything you read.
Re: Powell, Hull
It wouldn't surprise me if hes had a meeting with hull fc similar to Watson but i think Powell will stay another year then probably leave.

Everything seems to be based on a single post by one person?

B4 the Rhinos game the Sky commentators were saying Powell could do with a change as coaches get stale. Maybe that's coincidence but I doubt it.

Re: Powell, Hull
So Powell would be 2nd choice to Watson?? Do you think DP would accept that?

Re: Powell, Hull
Hes was 2nd choice to James Lowes before he got the Cas job so dont think it makes any difference. Providing theres enough zeros on the end of his pay packet.Tigers1926 wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 19:16 So Powell would be 2nd choice to Watson?? Do you think DP would accept that?

Re: Powell, Hull
Not sure that’s absolutely correct about Lowes. My understanding was that there was a change of heart by the club. I don’t believe Lowes turned it down

Re: Powell, Hull
As we are obviously bored and clutching at vague rumours, could someone start a sensible thread about Martians landing in Featherstone or Wigan staying under the salary cap.
Powell is going nowhere, unless he wants to go.
He has unfinished business here.
Let's move on and have a better rumour, please.

Powell is going nowhere unless he wants to go, do you realise how moronic a statement that is ? If he joins another club obviously he wants to go idiot.stevieblunder wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 23:04 As we are obviously bored and clutching at vague rumours, could someone start a sensible thread about Martians landing in Featherstone or Wigan staying under the salary cap.

Re: Powell, Hull
Moronic? Well pardon him for having an opinion. Some on here are stating he may be being forced out! And the comment was, he ain't going nowhere unless he wants to. Fair point to me but then again I engage my brainwesterbeast73 wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 23:15Powell is going nowhere unless he wants to go, do you realise how moronic a statement that is ? Fancy sky commentators trying to cause problems for cas, especially as they love us so much.westerbeast73 wrote: ↑31 Oct 2020, 11:48 B4 the Rhinos game the Sky commentators were saying Powell could do with a change as coaches get stale. Maybe that's coincidence but I doubt it.
They are and have been for a while trying to disrupt us.
Re: Powell, Hull
Only if we let em.
Re: Powell, Hull
The coaching staff relationship with board and off field staff is strained at the club and has been for well over a year... Danny has had enough let's just hope Powell has a little more patience. Andy Lynch recently spoke out from Auz on social media about certain ongoings they might even be still on Instagram from when the Orr leaving was announced.
