Leilani Latu
Leilani Latu
This lad we scouted and had him in the bag only for Warrington (Word got to a former scout now at Wolves) to sign him. Apparently he is set to become available and I think the club may be in for him again? Whilst nothing is certain think he be a great addition. Thoughts?

Not what we need. There is a reason Warrington are letting him go so soon.yefords84 wrote: ↑19 Oct 2020, 07:29 This lad we scouted and had him in the bag only for Warrington (Word got to a former scout now at Wolves) to sign him. I would take him always rated him in aus and I think Warrington did not give him a chance they just buy players so no one else can
Re: Leilani Latu
Not like Cas in the last two and half years to get close to signing a player only for it to fall through ...

Re: Leilani Latu
Fully agree just not sure if we could afford would be an improvement on Junior I’d be more then happy with him and Tagainoa if true
Re: Leilani Latu
Maybe go for someone like Eddie Battye ...

Seems like we're all clutching at straws here. The sooner this season over the better. Try and start a fresh next season. Hopefully we might be able to get an handle on this Covid and try to get back to some normality. Just going through the motions rest of season throw some young guns in for a run if we got any.

Yes I agree some on here are clutching at straws especially the suggestion of considering Eddie (Nora) Battye !!! He is only Championship grade and is not good enough for SL !!!Piquad1 wrote: ↑20 Oct 2020, 15:24 Seems like we're all clutching at straws here. The sooner this season over the better. It was a question to encourage debate. No need to be facetious, is there?
Going into 2021, in my opinion, we have a handful of SL standard forwards and need to improve significantly in this area with players better than Eddie Battye where possible
Re: Leilani Latu
Sorry
Don't think we can sign the players we would like to I think the club is in a bit of a mess... of the cheaper options I'd take Battye I know a lot of people see him as garbage I think he's a fair enough player

Even in these tough times I wouldn’t be looking at Battye would rather Harrison from fev who’s currently on loan at Leeds

Re: Leilani Latu
Battye is deceptive, he may look like an overweight Doctor ready to play for Old Yah Yahs third Fifteen, but he’s aggressive, make yards and has a good passing game. If we are basement shopping he would be a lot better for us than people would assume.

Re: Leilani Latu
Battye would certainly be a better bet than Latu and far better value.
