Re: Liam sutcliffe.
Let's be clear... there is more in Aus than the NRL. Not sure where I stated he was set to start for Melbourne and will be the next Billy Slater. I'm sure a year living in Aussie playing lower league RL while living by the beaches is better than signing at Fev for a year.

Doesn’t say he’s going to Oz to play rugby either...blinkstudios wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 17:50Turner looking to move to Oz that's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Hes not good enough to be a 1st team player at Cas never mind Oz #-oCasmoley wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 17:10

Well if that's the case good ridance to him, unfortunately though Oz dont just let any Tom Dick or Harry live there. They only let in people with the work skills they require. If my memory serves me right he plays rugby. Unless he has some other work skill I dont know about. Sure you will let me know though seen as how you think you know everythingFumper27 wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 18:47Doesn’t say he’s going to Oz to play rugby either...blinkstudios wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 17:50Turner looking to move to Oz that's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Re: Liam sutcliffe.
Question is if we lose Smith, Cook, Moors and pretty much confirmed McMeeken who Is coming in to replace them sounds like we’ve missed out on Ashworth so that’s one ruled out

Can people not have multiple skills and qualifications? Even Liam Watts has an estate agency business to go into after his RL career. Ash Robson left Cas a few years back to go part time because his earning potential was limited as a professional RL player.
I don’t know what qualifications Calum has but if, for arguments sake, he was trained as an architect and got offered £50,000 to start and play RL at Cas as bit part squad player or he was offered £100,000 to go and work as an architect in Sydney, I know which I would choose.

Re: Liam sutcliffe.
Like you say you dont know what qualifications he has got so your comment he might not be playing rugby is just guess work. He might be a brain surgeon aswell and will get even more money for that. If anyones comments are stupid you need to have a good look in the mirror as your up there with the best of em. As for the Evalds comment he would have been here by now if Salford had not changed the goal posts on the deal at the last minute.Fumper27 wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 19:55Deary me. Depends if Salford go back to their original deal. Cas wont pay the extra money they have asked for for him to come this Season.MrRugby123 wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 20:23So what is he not coming now?blinkstudios wrote: ↑01 Jul 2020, 20:17Like you say you dont know what qualifications he has got so your comment he might not be playing rugby is just guess work. Not guess work, just putting an alternative point of view across. Not everything is as it seems. Just because a player goes to Australia, it’s not a given its to play rugby. Surely even you can accept that?
PS - any update on the Evalds to Cas early move????

Always thought a verbal agreement with witnesses was as good as a contract? I’m not up to date with all that but I’m fairly sure Jon Wells LLB will be.

Re: Liam sutcliffe.
If someone asked me about 3/4 years ago about signing any player in SL - I would have said Liam Sutcliffe
Appeared an amazing talent at the time,
He’s been ruined so far through poor coaching and injuries of late.
He’s a quality player, Who needs to find his position and stick to it - And for me that was to be as a ball playing 13.
Can’t see there’s any legs in the rumour. But it would be a very positive signing in my book
