Re: David fifita
No way he’d leave wakey to come to Cas in my opinion. Equally, no way wakey would sell him to Cas - would be happy to be wrong though!

I can't see it happening, but why would he not? by all accounts was very close to jumping ship few years back until Wakey gave him what he wanted. however, if he did become available then we'd have a battle on with Leeds & Warrington.steadygetyerboots-on wrote: ↑11 Mar 2020, 19:53 No way he’d leave wakey to come to Cas in my opinion. Re: David fifita
I just don’t think he would. Had he left wakey when we offered the deal then he would’ve been walking into a Cas squad that was riding high & looking capable of seriously competing on all fronts for the duration of his contract. He chose to stay at wakey for more cash than we were willing to offer, Which I’ve no issue with, but it does give an indication of where his priorities lie at that time. Fast forward to now & I don't think we can offer him what we once could in terms of serious tilts at trophies so we’d now be the ones relying on money being the deciding factor & I can’t see Cas valuing him higher than what we did last time (he’s older & had injuries) - add to the that, I don’t think Michael Carter could afford the backlash of letting him come to Cas.
