Very much depends on who signs a new deal.
At the moment we could be losing Millington, Moors, Sene-Lefao, Rankin and McMeeken so will need four or five proven players who can come straight into the starting 17 if they all leave.
I’d like to see McMeeken stay and whilst it looked like JSL would head home to be with his family, I’m not sure if they are back living over here now? If so and they are happy, we should be trying to keep him too.
I doubt Moors or Millington will do another year. The overseas forward in SL could well be Ikahihifo or Matagi (or both if Millington and Moors leave). Herman Ese’Ese is off-contact at Newcastle and I believe we’ve enquired about him before, so might be another possibility.
I’m not sold on Rankin, so if we can prise Evalds away from Salford I think that would be a fantastic signing.

I think the “top” clubs already have full backs signed up for 2021. That would put us in a strong position, surely???

Maybe, but most clubs have a full-back already contracted for 2021.
Saints - Coote
Warrington - Ratchford (just signed a new deal too)
Wigan - French (with Hardaker as back-up).
Catalans - Tomkins
Leeds - Walker
I can't see any of those teams signing another top full-back when they already have one under contract.

Shaul is OOC at Hull FC, but I can't see them allowing him to leave (mainly because he comes with some dispensation on the salary cap).

He’s far from garbage. He is though under contract over there until 2022 so it ain’t happening anyway.
