Exactly what I said pal. Great in 2017 when we were hammering teams. Disappointing since.Nobody wrote: ↑13 Dec 2020, 14:01 Goes hiding when we're in the grind during games. If we are losing disappears into back play, stands about with his hands on his hips, doesn't run the ball in. Wants all the glory but doesn't want to do the hard graft for it. Different story when we're on the flip side of the coin when we're winning. Two different players.

Cool. Who for and when?Mysterio wrote: ↑13 Dec 2020, 13:29I know how tough the game is thanks, possibly played more than youFumper27 wrote: ↑12 Dec 2020, 20:46 Would love to see anyone who calls Mcmeekan, or any rugby player, a princess to their face. It’s the most physical sport around and, those who tend to make such comments have probably never played the game to understand how tough it is.
Yes, his performance level dropped from 2017 but he put his body on the line every game he played

Not big enough not heavy enough. Ball handling scales non existence. Very mediocre. No good having great backs without strong forwards.

Re: McMeekan
Heard he’s looking for out already.
Looking like Catalans will be based in Uk for at least first half of season and doesn’t wanna leave his family in France.

Re: McMeekan
Not sure why he’d be looking for a ‘way out’ because Catalans are going to be based in the UK. Surely that’s exactly where he’d need to move if he did leave?

Re: McMeekan
If he has moved his family out on a full-time basis with a home ready and waiting for the full length of the agreed contract, his family would probably stay out in France for the duration of the time he'd be based over here with the Cats. That would be 6 month or so without seeing his family.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑03 Feb 2021, 13:54Not sure why he’d be looking for a ‘way out’ because Catalans are going to be based in the UK. However, if he somehow manages to get a new club back over here, he can move the family back over with him.

He’s just took his family over to France to live.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑03 Feb 2021, 13:54Not sure why he’d be looking for a ‘way out’ because Catalans are going to be based in the UK. Surely that’s exactly where he’d need to move if he did leave?
If catalans are based here in the UK that would mean him upping sticks to move back here.
Other scenario is, him living here leaving his family over in France.

Toulouse are to be based over here, thought they had more French players in their squad, obviously England is the best place to live after Brexit.old cas lass wrote: ↑03 Feb 2021, 14:03He’s just took his family over to France to live.nottinghamtiger wrote: ↑03 Feb 2021, 13:54Not sure why he’d be looking for a ‘way out’ because Catalans are going to be based in the UK. Re: McMeekan
I think a long time ago I was the first to call McMeeken Princess and I stand by that, I am not going to draw a conclusion from my wife and kids being in France and me being away for 6 months, but he is in cricket parlance a flat track bully..... When things are good he is devastating but when it is poor and you need some yakker, less so.
Wasn't fussed when he wanted out and wasn't bothered that he went to the hot and colds, all works itself out in the end,
